Pre-Primary

The Pre- Primary section of New Day School has been divided into three levels:

Beginners        3 to 4 years old

Middlers         4 to 5 years old

Transitory       5 to 6 years old

New Day School is following Oxford as well as Hidden Gems curriculum for its pre-primary years. Linguistic, arithmetic and disciplinary skills are imparted through student centered activities and play. It is essential for children to be cultured and cultivated in a loving and friendly environment, where they can flourish intellectually as well as morally. The classrooms are decorated and designed in a way to encourage students to observe and learn from their surroundings. Creating a conducive environment is instrumental for student learning to occur. Along with the development of motor, sensory and conversation skills, character development is crucial at this level, which lays the foundation of the child for years to come. The Hidden Gems program helps inculcate the moral values from the very tender age. The program comprises of stories and poems based on moral virtues such a truthfulness, honesty, trustworthiness and many more.
