Procedure

New Day School welcomes students from diverse backgrounds. The sole criterion for admission is merit.

Step One:

Parents wishing to admit their child in New Day School, have to collect the Admission Test form from the Accounts office. The registration fee for admission test is non-refundable. The dates of the admission test will be updated on the school website as well as on the school notice board.

Registration does not in any way confirm or guarantee admission. It is subject to getting through an admission test/ interview and availability of the seat.

Step Two:

Admission Test/Assessment:

Pre-Primary

Evaluation of the enrolling students is conducted on basis of student’s assessment and interviewing the parents. The student is assessed generally on their capability of identifying alphabets, numerical and different colors and shapes. The proportion of weightage given to the assessment and the interview are as follows:

Interview: 60%

Assessment: 40%

Primary & Secondary:

The student has to appear in an entry test; once the test is cleared the candidate will be interviewed. Students are tested in English, Urdu and Mathematics. Class 5 onwards their general science and analytical skills are also assessed.

Step Three:

Prospective candidates will be informed of the result within two weeks of the test.

All decisions regarding the selection of student is made by a panel and are considered final. Results will be uploaded on the school website and put up on the notice board.

Step Four:

Parents of the accepted candidates will be called for an interview.

Step Five:

Once the parents are interviewed and the student is accepted for the admission, the admission form has to be collected from the Accounts office. The form should be completely filled and returned to the account office with all the required documents.

Parents are given the admission fee bill, payable by a certain due date in a specific bank as mentioned on the fee bill
