Primary

The Primary section of New Day Secondary School has been divided into four levels:

Class II        6.5 to 7.4 years old

Class III        7.5 to 8.4 years old

Class IV       9.5 to 10.4 years old

Class V        10.5 to 11.4 years old

The curriculum followed by the primary section of the New Day School is Oxford. Teachers design their lesson plans in a fashion to inculcate skills such as critical thinking, problem solving and teamwork. The teachers of the primary sections are well qualified and highly trained to cater the needs of the young minds. Activity based learning is encouraged and carried out in the classrooms through well designed lesson plans.

For a holistic development of the child, catering their moral development is equally important. Students learn about different virtues through stories, songs and games in the children’s classes. Cooperation is the underlying principal of this program. Students are nurtured in an environment where they are encouraged to work in cooperation with their peers.
